How fairness works
Most block puzzles hide how pieces are chosen. BlockFair makes the generator public, seeded, and checkable — so you can know the game isn't rigged to force ads or purchases.

A seed starts every game
When you tap play, the device picks a random 32-bit seed. That seed is the only source of chance for the whole run. After the game, it's shown as eight hex digits (for example

A public algorithm draws every piece
Pieces come from a documented SplitMix64 stream and a fixed weighted bag of shapes — the same rules on iPhone and Android. The same seed and the same moves always reproduce the same hands, colors, and scores. Nothing else in the app is allowed to consume that randomness.

You can verify the result
Because the algorithm is public, anyone with the seed and your moves can replay the exact game you played. We never tie piece generation to monetization. Fair Mode (default) also redraws a dead hand so you're not dealt an instant no-move board.

How do I know a block puzzle isn't rigged?
In BlockFair, every game starts with a seed. That seed drives a public algorithm (SplitMix64) that decides every piece. Same seed, same sequence — on any device. The seed is shown after the game so you can check. Piece generation is never tied to ads, purchases, or making the board harder so you'll watch an ad.
What does "provably fair" mean here?
It means the piece sequence is deterministic and documented. Anyone with the seed and the published rules can reproduce the exact hands you got. We don't hide a private server that decides pieces based on how much you've spent or how stuck you are.
Do ads interrupt gameplay?
No. Ads never appear mid-game. Interstitials can show only after game-over, at most once every three games, and they're always skippable within a few seconds. There are no banner ads. Rewarded ads are opt-in only — and if the ad fails to load, you still get the reward.
Is Premium a subscription?
No. BLOCKFAIR Forever is a single one-time purchase. Pay once, own it forever: ads gone, themes unlocked. Price is set by the App Store or Google Play for your region. Nothing renews.
What is Fair Mode?
Fair Mode (the default) redraws a hand if none of the three pieces can be placed on the current board — so you're never dealt an instant dead end. Hardcore skips that safety net for a tougher run. Both modes still use the same seeded, verifiable generator.
Does BlockFair work offline? Do I need an account?
Yes, fully offline. No account, no email, no sign-in. The fairness seed is generated on your device and never leaves it. Buying Premium also removes ad-related data collection.
